Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not, please read the information below on how to return an item or request a refund.

1. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

If you change your mind, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.

To exercise this right, please contact us by email at yourapothecaryromance@outlook.com with your order number and details.

Once you’ve told us you’d like to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the items to us.

We will issue a full refund including the original standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or evidence that they’ve been sent back). Refunds will be made using your original payment method.

2. Return Postage Costs

You’ll need to cover the cost of returning the item unless it was faulty, damaged, or sent in error.

If you are returning an item because it’s faulty or incorrect, please contact us first and we’ll arrange a return label or reimbursement of postage.

3. Items Excluded from Return

Some items can’t be returned or cancelled unless they arrive damaged or faulty:

  • Custom or personalised products
  • Perishable goods (such as food or flowers)
  • Sealed hygiene items (for example, cosmetics or underwear) if the seal has been broken
  • Digital downloads, once you’ve started downloading (if you agreed to this when purchasing) 

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you’re entitled to a full refund within 30 days if an item is faulty or not as described.

After 30 days, we’ll offer a repair or replacement in line with your legal rights. If we’re unable to repair or replace the item, we’ll issue a refund or price reduction as appropriate.

5. How to Return an Item

  1. Email yourapothecaryromance@outlook.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll provide instructions and the return address.
  3. Pack your item securely, include your order details, and send it back within 14 days.
  4. Keep your proof of postage until your return has been processed.

6. Refund Timeframes

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your returned items or proof of return.

We can only issue refunds to the original payment method used when placing your order.
