Our melts are made with a soy wax blend, fragrance / essential oil and packaged in handy clamshells which are manufactured in the UK from high quality PET which is recyclable. Each one has lovingly been poured in small batches to ensure the highest possible quality. While we do take care to ensure each is made the same, as we are not machines, they may differ slightly but are still perfect to use.

Thanks to the design of the 5 section clamshell, these are easy to snap off and use in perfect quantities. Our wax bars can be used in both tea light warmers and electric, though please note depending on which you use, this will change the longevity of the scent. Simply break a piece off depending on the size of your melter, light a tea light and let the scent work its magic in your home.

While during the testing period, we have used the melts around our own pets and so have our testers. It is incredibly important to note that each pet is different and what may be safe for one, may not be safe for another as just like with humans, everyone reacts differently and has different allergies. While ours haven't had a reaction, please make sure yours are safe.

An electric warmer will ensure the scent lasts longer, but it may not be as strong. Whereas a tea light warmer will provide a stronger scent throw but may not last as long due to the direct heat from the flame. A taller tea light warmer is advised as the shorter the warmer, the quicker the scent will burn off. 

Be careful not to overflow your melter dish, adding more wax doesn't always mean a stronger scent throw. Each room and home is different and during testing we have tried to do so in different sized rooms and home styles (bungalows, traditional two up and two down for example) to ensure these scents have passed the test. 
Some factors are out of our control as each home is different whether this be size, the way the air circulates and the temperature. Some rooms may need more than one warmer dependant on the room size, and some scents may need to be moved to a smaller room if they're not a powerhouse - that's ok! 

Safety Is Important Too.

No matter which style melter you use, please make sure that the melter of choice is on a flat, heat proof surface. Tea light warmers should not be used in a drafty spot and should never be left unattended. While we do provide the melts, it's the buyers responsibility to melt them safely.
